Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Thin Films and CMP Engineering Manager to lead 24/7 fab operations in a high-volume 200 mm environment.

You will balance technical depth with strong operational leadership to support NPD and robust yield improvements. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, 3+ years in leadership, and expertise in Thin Films, CMP, metrology, and control strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in 150 mm/200 mm fabs.
• 3+ years of leadership in a production environment with track record.
• Strong background in Thin Films and CMP for mature nodes.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, FMEA and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead ThinFilms/CMP engineers for 24/7 fab operations and development.
• Partner with design and integration teams to develop lithography layers.
• Own lithography processes on mature nodes, ensuring high uptime and yield.
• Drive defect density reduction, overlay control, and CD uniformity.
• Oversee process control systems and maintain documentation.
