Job summary

SkyWater Technology seeks a Senior Staff Supervisor for Clean Room Manufacturing – Films in Austin, TX. Lead shift operations for high-volume Etch/Thin Films work, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time targets.

You will supervise operators, coordinate with engineering and maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced fab environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, process knowledge in Etch/Thin Films, and a proven track record in cleanroom manufacturing, with

Qualifications

5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
2+ years in Etch or Thin Films processes preferred.
2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
Strong understanding of Etch and Thin Films processes, CD and thickness control, SPC and statistical analysis.
Experience in high-volume 200mm or 300mm fab environments.
Ability to work in a cleanroom and support the assigned shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise operators and process technicians during the assigned shift.
Drive daily production targets including throughput, WIP management, and cycle time.
Ensure smooth shift handoff communication.
Respond to process excursions and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams.
Escalate issues to minimize downtime and yield impact.
Monitor critical metrics and support troubleshooting of Etch/Thin Films processes.
Coordinate tool qualifications and maintenance schedules; partner with engineering on improvements.
Coach and mentor team members; manage staffing and scheduling.
