Job summary

onsemi in Gresham, OR, seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a 200mm manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on semiconductor tools in a dynamic team.

Shift C- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday, 7 AM–7:06 PM. You will diagnose complex equipment, lead tool recoveries, develop PM standards, mentor technicians, and coordinate with engineers and vendors to drive improvements.

Qualifications

Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on Thin Films platforms.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment/process failures.
Develop and follow PM programs and maintenance standards.
Interpret equipment/process data to identify failures and improvements.
Lead tool recoveries and root-cause investigations with documented actions.

Responsibilities

Independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment and process failures using advanced diagnostics and schematics.
Lead difficult tool recoveries and root-cause investigations, documenting findings and driving corrective actions.
Perform and improve preventive/corrective maintenance and calibrations with high first-time-right quality.
Interpret data to identify abnormal conditions and reliability improvements.
Develop and standardize PM specs, guides, checklists, and maintenance systems.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, vendors, and management on improvements.
Train and mentor technicians in maintenance, diagnostics, safe practices, and documentation.
Provide technical leadership across shifts with clear pass-downs and data quality.
Coordinate vendor support during escalations, repairs, upgrades, and qualifications.
Maintain equipment history, repair data, parts usage, and documentation in systems.
