Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician (CMP) in Gresham, OR to perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on semiconductor tools at our premier 200mm facility. You will work in a dynamic, team-driven environment and contribute to reliability improvements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with diagnostic equipment, dismantling and repairing equipment, following schematics, and writing maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work B shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under guidance.
• Ability to learn systems and processes quickly.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment per maintenance specs and manuals.
• Use schematics and test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
• Develop and document maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage parts/services.
• Mentor other technicians and provide training as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

Shift: B shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday 7 PM- 7:06 AM. An additional 15% night shift is included.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root causes, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
• Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
• Vendor management and coordination.
• Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Shift: B shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday.
• High-level attention to detail
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction
• Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in constrained spaces and awkward positions
• Ability to apply force and full exertion

Preferred

• Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree.
• 5+ years of prior technician experience
• CMP area equipment experience: AMAT Mirra/ OnTrak, AMAT Mirra/ Mesa, IPEC 776/7700, and IPEC Momentum/OnTrak
• MS Excel and Word skills are a plus
