Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead design for assigned projects and serve as the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client.

Responsibilities include mechanical/structural design per specs and standards, issuing RFQs, submitting drawings, reviewing vendor documentation and non-conformance reports, and developing installation and operation manuals for each job.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
5+ years of design and project engineering experience.
Experience with a manufacturing company in design and drafting.
Design experience in heat transfer products.
Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
Proficient with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Inventor.
Strong MS Word/Excel skills; VBA/Visual Basic a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for mechanical/structural design per specs and standards.
Prepare and issue RFQs/Requisitions in a timely manner.
Submission of company drawings and documentation per contract specifications.
Review and authorize vendor drawings and documentation.
Review non-conformance reports from manufacturing facilities.
Develop installation and operations manuals tailored to specific job requirements.
