Qualifikationen

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in silicon photonics IC development.
• Experience in optics or photonic system development.
• Hands-on silicon photonics lab experience.
• Proficient with Ansys tools.

Aufgaben

• Design thermal and structural aspects of silicon photonic designs.
• Run stress simulations for optical components and fiber alignment.
• Set up thermal validation experiments and test laser performance.
• Model die-package thermo-mechanical interactions.
• Support opto-mechanical system design with leads.
• Characterize thermal behavior of electronic packages per JEDEC standards.
• Address solder joint fatigue and creep modeling.
