Job summary

E3 Consulting seeks a Senior Construction Manager - Thermal to oversee desktop and onsite construction monitoring for projects in the U.S. The role involves oversight of permitting, scheduling, procurement, interconnection, commissioning and testing to ensure contractual and financing obligations are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing contractor plans, monitoring costs, and certifying readiness for performance testing, with a hybrid schedule and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing project schedules.
• CMP preferred (certification)

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly project progress meetings to evaluate permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, interconnection, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Conduct periodic site visits to verify construction progress and alignment with milestones.
• Review contractor work plans, scheduling, progress tracking, and resource allocation for contractual compliance.
• Evaluate quality control programs, field reports, and inspection documentation; coordinate with owners and contractors for major inspections.
• Review start-up and commissioning plans to ensure readiness for commercial operation.
• Monitor recruitment, staffing, and training of O&M personnel and review related programs.
• Track project costs and variances against budgets; report changes and approvals.
• Verify progress against milestones and issue progress reports and certifications.
