Job summary

Aspiranet’s Hope Forward Campus in Turlock, CA seeks a Therapeutic Youth Counselor III to provide leadership and therapeutic support in a Short-Term Residential Treatment Program. You’ll supervise junior staff, deliver interventions, and guide youth through daily routines and school activities.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to program standards within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• 3+ years of full-time experience in a behavioral health-related field (preferred).
• MHRS qualifications preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Informs and supports the implementation of trauma-responsive treatment, transition and discharge plans.
• Runs daily cottage/group home schedules and honors youth rituals and cultural customs.
• May serve as administrator in absence of supervisor or manager.
• Stages therapeutic activities and coordinates transportation as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe cottage environment and monitors supplies.
