Job summary

Aspiranet’s Hope Forward Campus in Turlock, CA, is hiring a Therapeutic Youth Counselor III to lead a team within a state-of-the-art residential program. This on-site role supports daily trauma-informed care, school activities, and structured interventions for youth in a Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP).

You will supervise junior staff, coordinate routines, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic campus while collaborating with professionals across Behavioral Health and Social

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice or related field and three years in behavioral health.
• MHRS qualifications may qualify for a salary premium.
• Residential/Youth counseling experience is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to lead, coach and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Informs and supports trauma-informed treatment plans and interventions.
• Lead and supervise junior youth counselors; may act as administrator in absence of supervisor.
• Schedule cottage/group homes and oversee daily routines.
• Ensure clean, safe, welcoming environments and monitor supplies.
• Support safe distribution of self-administered medication and reviews.
• Model and mentor staff per Aspiranet models of practice.
• Engage youth, families, and providers in treatment planning and outcomes.
