InnovAge is seeking a Recreation Specialist II to design and implement therapeutic recreation programs for frail and elderly participants. You will conduct assessments, plan individualized activities, and contribute to the care plans within InnovAge PACE settings.

You will collaborate with therapists and nurses, maintain accurate progress notes, and support program administration while delivering compassionate, person-centered care.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year working with frail/elderly populations; full-time experience in a patient recreation program preferred.
• Preference given to Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).

Mansioni

• Plans, organizes, directs and participates in activity programs for frail and elderly participants.
• Conducts assessments and documents participant progress.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team on care plans for InnovAge PACE program participants.
• Coordinates with other departments for treatment goals and special events.
