Job summary

Created Solutions is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer specialized in THAAD integration to lead advanced engineering efforts for international partners. You will apply system-of-systems thinking to THAAD weapon systems, coordinate with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE THAAD leads, and drive interoperability across DoD, industry, and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance required.
Master’s degree in a STEM or related technical/scientific discipline.
12+ years of relevant professional experience.
Technical understanding of THAAD weapon system.
Experience with DoD terrestrial and satellite communications systems, including MILSATCOM.
Strong systems engineering and execution-process experience.
Familiarity with MDA, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and THAAD Program Office efforts.
Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical problems and/or lead technical teams.
Proven ability to develop and deliver technical reports, briefings, and presentations to senior-level personnel.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide systems and interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance related to the THAAD weapon system and international partners.
Support the Engineering Lead in managing the technical aspects of assigned force design efforts.
Support international Tactical Data Link (TDL) architecture activities and participate in data link conferences and technical exchanges.
Collaborate and coordinate force design technical efforts across multiple external agencies and stakeholders.
Identify deficiencies and shortcomings during planned or ongoing design reviews and develop options for resolving technical issues.
Document and communicate interim and final technical findings and results in a clear manner appropriate for senior-level decision makers.
Actively participate in regular and ad hoc force design meetings, technical exchanges, and engineering activities.
