Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to provide coordinated communications and systems engineering support for THAAD with international partners. You will lead interoperability analyses and coordinate force design activities while producing clear technical findings for senior leaders.

A Secret clearance and 10+ years in defense systems are required, along with strong MILSATCOM and TDL experience.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
10+ years of related professional experience in defense systems.
Technical understanding of THAAD and missile defense programs.
Experience with DoD terrestrial and MILSATCOM systems.
Strong report writing and senior management communication.
Ability to lead teams and work independently.

Responsibilities

Provide systems and interoperability engineering and guidance on THAAD with international partners.
Assist Engineering Lead with managing technical aspects of force design work.
Assist with international Tactical Data Link architecture and data link conferences.
Coordinate force design efforts with external agencies and stakeholders.
Identify deficiencies in design reviews and propose fixes.
Document findings clearly for senior decision-makers.
Participate in regular and ad hoc force design meetings and exchanges.
