Job summary

Vector Synergy Off-site is seeking an experienced QA tester to translate requirements into precise test cases, design test scenarios, and support key users during UAT in a remote/off-site setting.

You will execute manual and API tests, perform functional, non-functional, integration and end-to-end testing, analyze results, report findings, and contribute to ongoing application maintenance using JIRA and test data practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in testing.
• Experience preparing tests and supporting UAT.
• Proficiency in manual testing and API testing, and in balancing electrical network algorithms.
• Experience conducting functional, non-functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to assist with UAT tests.
• Strong analytical skills in interpreting test results and producing reports.
• Proficiency with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements with business analysts to translate them into test cases.
• Prepare test scenarios and support key users in test execution.
• Prepare test data, obtain data from other areas and provide test data for own and other teams.
• Execute manual tests, including API tests and balancing algorithms for the electrical network.
• Conduct functional, non-functional, integration, and process chain (e2e) tests.
• Analyze and interpret test results, draw conclusions, and produce reports.
• Participate in application maintenance processes.
