Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Tester to serve as a UAT liaison between Multifamily business stakeholders and product teams. You will coordinate UAT planning, execution, and readiness to ensure delivered capabilities meet business needs before release.
You will own defect management, risk identification, test data coordination, and cross-team communication using Jira and Confluence, with a strong focus on conflict management and mortgage banking domain knowledge.

Must Have Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with conflict management, with product knowledge and mortgage banking experience highly preferred; a strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Jira, and Confluence is required, and basic testing experience is preferred.
They are not looking for an automation tester or a traditional testing profile. They are looking for someone who can own customer support, share feedback with the Product Owner regarding defects, and work with tools such as Jira and Confluence. The candidate should have experience with conflict management, strong product knowledge, and mortgage banking experience. The role requires experience with UAT effect planning, risk identification, defect management, and negotiation. Candidates with a Business Analyst background would also be a good fit for this type of role.
The User Acceptance Testing Liaison serves as the bridge between Multifamily business stakeholders and product teams, ensuring to ensure that solutions are validated against business needs before release. This role coordinates UAT planning and execution, supports
user acceptance testing activities, facilitates clear communication across teams, drives timely issue resolution, and helps confirm that delivered capabilities meet quality, usability, and operational readiness expectations.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Product teams and Business SMEs to coordinate user acceptance testing for new functionality.
Partner with Product and Business teams to translate business process flows and operational scenarios into clear UAT test cases, scripts, validation checklists, and test data using standardized templates and processes.
Facilitate UAT sessions, walkthroughs, and readiness reviews so participants understand objectives, scenarios, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
Coordinate test data, environment readiness, tester access, job aids, and supporting documentation required for successful execution.
Conduct regular touchpoints and UAT office hours to identify blockers early, answer questions, and maintain testing momentum throughout each 2 3-week cycle.
Track defects, blockers, risks, and open questions; ensure reported issues are documented, categorized, prioritized, assigned, and resolved in partnership with Product Owners, Product Analysts, and Business SMEs.
Consolidate testing results, summarize quality trends, report progress, and communicate risks or readiness concerns to project leadership and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to strengthen UAT processes, testing discipline, documentation standards, and cross-team collaboration practices.
UAT activities are clearly planned, communicated, and completed on time, with stakeholder accountability and alignment across Product and Business teams.
Testing scope, business scenarios, acceptance criteria, and release readiness expectations are well understood by all participants.
Issues, defects, risks, and quality trends are identified early, prioritized appropriately, and addressed quickly to support release criteria.
Business SMEs are equipped with the test cases, test data, credentials, environment access, job aids, and functional guidance needed to execute testing effectively.
Feedback is captured, documented, and classified in partnership with Product teams as user errors, defects, enhancements, or follow-up actions.
Trusted relationships are built with Business SMEs through clear communication,
responsiveness, approachability, and the ability to explain technical and functional concepts in practical terms.
Strong judgment and problem-solving are applied to assess questions, identify potential user errors, and involve the appropriate product team members as needed.
