Job summary

Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking a Test & Validation Engineer Lead to support NIH/NCI/CBIIT BITSDIS 2. This role targets verification, validation, and quality engineering across enterprise apps, cloud platforms, and AI/ML systems.

The position emphasizes developing a robust TEMP, validation strategy, and automated testing framework, with collaboration across government stakeholders and engineers. A strong emphasis on DevSecOps and compliance to federal standards is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience relevant to the position.
• Experience supporting NIH, HHS, CMS, or other Federal civilian agencies.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and integrating quality engineering into Agile and DevSecOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification, validation, and quality engineering across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, AI/ML solutions, and biomedical informatics systems.
• Develop and maintain the program's TEMP, Validation Strategy, Quality Management Plan, and automated testing framework.
• Define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation methodologies for functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, usability, interoperability, and user acceptance testing.
• Oversee automated testing using CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
