Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Test Technician I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and the likely shift being from 5am to 2pm.

• Perform IC test, equipment calibration, periodic maintenance, and repairs including solder rework
• Generate shipping labels, packing, and tracking packages
• Follow work instructions to support Product and Test engineering staff
• Setup equipment such as ATEs, IC handler, and wafer probers to support device test
• Organize lab space and store equipment in designated locations
• Use software tools to track and monitor equipment usage
• Catalog lab equipment and control / manage lab supplies including engineering hardware
• Ensure lab compliance with all safety and quality policies including ISO requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience with handling semiconductor equipment
• PCB rework and soldering skills desired
• Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and work with a team
• Good communication in written and verbal English
• Bachelors + 10 years of experience or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits

MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.

MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range of: $19.57 to $25.51 Hourly
