Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a seasoned Test Technician in Phoenix to join our Test Engineering group. You will test and troubleshoot high-density digital system assemblies, verify board and system level functionality, and document comprehensive test reports.

Expect collaboration with engineers to ensure test equipment and processes meet design specifications. The role requires strong electronics fundamentals, schematic reading, and hands-on use of lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Performs complex testing and moderate problem solving on digital systems and subassemblies.
• Reads schematics and technical data to ensure proper test procedures.
• Prepares complex test reports in accordance with procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Conducts thermal, shock, vibration and environmental tests.
• Diagnoses root causes and develops corrective actions for issues in test environments.
• Uses oscilloscopes, DMMs, serial emulators and networking devices for tests.
• Collaborates with engineers to ensure proper function of product and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot high-density multi-system assemblies at board and system level.
• Apply diagnostics tests and measure performance on complex systems.
• Set up and deploy specialized equipment across technologies.
• Verify configurations, test processes and equipment operation.
• Collect and report performance data; document full test reports.
• Program and verify devices; assist with defect reports and resolutions.
