Job summary

Rehlko is seeking an Engineering Technician to support new product development through test development and data analysis. You will configure engines, generators, and components for testing, record data, troubleshoot, and ensure performance meets high standards.

This is an onsite role based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in a test environment, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a test environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude related to engine or generator development.
• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Ability to contribute as an individual toward team goals and deadlines.
• Ability to provide technical leadership by assisting others in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of generators/engines and record results.
• Analyze, interpret, document, and communicate test results.
• Assist in the development of new test set-ups and procedures.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and 5S of test cells, workstation, and equipment.
• Demonstrate technical competency and contribute to continuous improvement of products and test processes.
• Manage Lab space, tools, components, and test cells to support testing.
