Job summary

Rehlko seeks an Engineering Technician III to lead hands-on testing of engines and generators at an onsite facility in Sheboygan, WI. The role focuses on testing, data analysis, and driving improvements to meet Kohler-level standards.

You will configure engines and components for testing, record results, and participate in continuous improvement within a safety-conscious environment. This is an onsite position based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a test environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Ability to work with limited direction and information.
• Experience with hardware and software programming is a plus.
• Fabrication experience and use of hand tools helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, customer focused, driven to improve and grow.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of generators/engines, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
• Analyze, interpret, document, and communicate test results.
• Assist in the development of new test set-ups and test procedures.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and 5S of test cells, workstation, test equipment.
• Demonstrate technical competency and participate in the continuous improvement process as it relates to your role.
• Manage Lab space, tools, components, work area, test cells.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, making product, system, and process improvement recommendations.
