Job summary

Gavial Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Test Technician to conduct extensive electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical tests on systems and subassemblies. You will interact with internal and external customers to optimize test approaches, fixtures, and procedures.

The role supports engineers in developing tests, reviewing diagrams, and certifying equipment, while recording data and generating reports.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electronic/mechanical/electro-mechanical testing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in developing test procedures.
• Review and select test equipment, fixtures, and setup.
• Perform certifications and calibrations of test equipment.
• Test systems under specified environmental conditions; collect data.
• Analyze test results to determine root causes and collaborate on solutions.
• Prepare connection diagrams and wiring lists from schematics.
• Support Gavial's ESD program and related training.
