Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Technician (T3) – Test Engineering to join our on-site team in Burnsville, Minnesota. You will build test hardware, review designs with engineering, and maintain test documentation to support production for commercial and military sensor products.

The role requires 3+ years building cables and wire harnesses, soldering and schematic reading, plus experience with complex cable assemblies. On-site work and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building cables and wire harnesses.
• Proficient in soldering and reading electrical schematics.
• Experience building complex cable assemblies and test boxes.
• Knowledge of Minnesota electrical codes and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Build test hardware, including cables, boxes, and racks, according to engineering drawings.
• Create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering to meet customer requirements.
• Update documentation such as drawings, schematics, and bills of materials, or provide markups for new and existing test hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by operations and provide necessary repairs to solutions, such as cables, boxes, and racks, in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating with engineers, operators, and technicians.
