Job summary
SiTime is seeking a hands-on technician to support high-volume Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in a final test facility. You will help maintain, debug, and repair equipment, ensuring tool uptime and compliant production for automotive and industrial shipments.
Prioritize preventive maintenance and rapid issue resolution to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree is a plus.
- 4–6 years in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of MES software, inventory tracking (ERP/SAP), and basic MS Excel for production logs.
- Equipment knowledge of Pick-and-place handlers, tape-and-reel sealers, label printers, vacuum sealers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run production machinery (ATE test handler loading).
- Load device trays/tubes into automated test handlers; monitor jam rates and clear mechanical jams for high throughput.
- Inspect die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads under microscopes for defects.
- Record pass/fail yields, scrap counts, and test data in MES/ERP; flag low-yield lots to quality and engineers.
