Job summary

Cognizant invites a Test Lead — P&C Insurance (Duck Creek/Guidewire) to lead end-to-end testing for underwriting platforms. You will collaborate with client stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure high-quality delivery in a hybrid model with four days per week in a client office in Charlotte, NC.

You will drive test planning, automation strategy, and STLC execution, leveraging Java, Selenium, and CI/CD. Strong communication and domain knowledge are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of software testing experience with 8+ years in P&C underwriting testing.
• Hands-on testing with Duck Creek or Guidewire platforms.
• Strong test planning, estimation, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing QA dashboards and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive testing for Duck Creek, Guidewire, or similar P&C underwriting apps.
• Lead and mentor onsite and offshore teams.
• Manage all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Define and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
• Act as primary testing contact for stakeholders.
