HCLTech is seeking a Senior Test Lead to ensure high-quality embedded software compliant with DO-178B. You will craft comprehensive test plans, define objectives with stakeholders, and drive testing efforts across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor QA engineers, oversee automated test development, and push for process improvements to raise testing efficiency and product reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with embedded systems.
• Experience spanning architecture, design, integration and testing.

About the Role

The Senior Test Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for embedded software in compliance with DO 178B guidelines. This position involves developing comprehensive test plans that align with project objectives and collaborating with stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables. The Senior Test Lead will leverage their expertise to enhance testing methodologies, mentor team members, and drive process improvements, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Stakeholders To Gather And Clarify Functional And Design Specifications, Ensuring Test Environments And Infrastructure Are Maintained And Up To Date For Effective Testing Of Embedded Software.

2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process Under The Do 178B Framework.

3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Industry-Standard Tools, Ensuring Alignment With Quality Standards And Minimizing Exposure To Defects In Embedded Software Products.

4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Application Of The Testing Framework And Methodologies, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Contributing To Increased Team Productivity.

Skill Requirements

• Software engineering experience with 10+ years.
• Responsible for full lifecycle of product development from Architecture and design through integration and test.
• Experience in Software Engineering to include experience working various phases of the software development life cycle.
• Experience with software development Using C++
• Experience with Devops.
• Experience in Requirement management tools like Doors and Jama.
• Experience with certification aspects of Safety critical systems per DO178 Guidelines in order to successfully certify the products.
• Experience in Github.
• coordination with system and software team
• Ready to learn new technologies (quick learner)

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
