Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced or senior Test & Evaluation Engineer to join the Structures Test and Evaluation Engineering team in Berkeley, MO. You will lead test design, develop procedures and fixtures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure test readiness and data validity.

This role offers opportunities to work on military aircraft programs and legacy tests, with shifts including 1st shift and potential for nights or weekends to meet program objectives.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with strong technical background.
• Experience leading a test design team and test conduct.
• Extensive background in structural or mechanical testing and flight testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a test program under general direction.
• Lead a team through test design, integration and conduct in structural labs.
• Develop test procedures, fixtures design and oversee test setup.
• Coordinate with partners and shop personnel for tests.
• Analyze test data and prepare internal reports.
• Lead in troubleshooting test fixtures and equipment issues.
• Present data during design reviews and readiness reviews.
• Help shape the future direction of Boeing Structures Testing capability.
