Qualifications

• MA/MS Degree with 10 years of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
• Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
• Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering management and coordinate with AFLCMC organizations and external agencies to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.
• Support acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment across programs.
• Provide technical assistance to IPTs with emphasis on OSS&E.
• Review ECPs, RFVs, and maintain accurate system configuration baselines.
• Participate in technology insertion activities, CCBs, and technical/programmatic reviews.
• Conduct and support failure analyses and develop cost-effective solutions to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Support full weapon system lifecycle activities including analysis of alternatives, investment strategies, design, manufacturing, sustainment, and end-of-life processes.
• Apply DoD/AF engineering principles to improve manufacturing, operations, re-manufacture, demilitarization, and oversight activities.
