Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a J56 SMPES Test and Evaluation Trainer to support USSTRATCOM/J56 NC3 efforts. The role focuses on developing training materials, conducting operational training, and guiding test and evaluation activities on-site at Offutt AFB, NE.

The candidate will work with cross‑government partners to advance mission planning and execution through systems engineering and CI/CD practices, with a heavy emphasis on NC3 software and systems development in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: TS/SCI level clearance required.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience: 12+ years, including 5 years in DoD.
• Location: Offutt AFB, Omaha, Nebraska; on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop SMPES Recap training materials and courseware for SMPES training programs.
• Attend meetings to provide operational expertise during development and post-production phases; manage DRs and cross-talk meetings.
• Provide operational system training to SMPES Recap user organizations; include ROC, demonstrations, and events.
• Assist LDTO to ensure SMPES Recap testing integration success.
• Develop test plans for SMPES Recap test and training events; include exercises, OT&E.
• Authors and executes test plans and reports for SMPES Recap and NPES Recap.
