Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Software Test & Evaluation Engineer to support mission-critical software modernization, deployment, and training development for the Air Force NC3 capability and USSTRATCOM missions. The role focuses on testing, evaluating interoperability, and developing training materials to ensure reliable systems and effective operational performance.

The position is full-time, on-site at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska, with engagement across PMO, developers, and user

Qualifications

Citizenship: US citizen required.
Clearance: TS/SCI required and maintainable.
Bachelor's Degree.
12+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years DoD experience.
1 year Operational Test experience.
2 years training development experience.
2 years NC3 system hands-on operational experience.
1 year experience in Agile/DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Provides test support during all phases of SMPES software and system modernization.
Evaluates delivered capabilities against operational tasks and responsibilities.
Develops SMPES test plans and strategies to support J56 testing priorities.
Provides operational test and training expertise to leadership and stakeholders.
Supports Product Owner for system development and modernization in SMPES Playbook.
Develops operational training materials for SMPES capabilities.
Drafts briefs and papers for Test and Training leadership.
