Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment for RMS systems, coordinating labor, schedules, and tests to evaluate devices and customer samples. As a Test Engineering Lead, you provide technical leadership, supervise complex test activities, mentor staff, review work products, and drive continuous improvement across test processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in test engineering or production manufacturing.
• Knowledge of test engineering or production manufacturing procedures, safety, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to coach and develop employees and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight to Test Engineering personnel, ensuring test activities are performed safely and accurately.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise moderately to highly complex test activities supporting engineering evaluations and product development.
• Research test methods and lead efforts to improve test methodologies and processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other functions to establish test requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Test Engineering Aides, technicians, and junior staff.
• Review work products for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor Test Engineering work to meet schedules and objectives.
• Lead technical discussions and present test results and recommendations to leadership.
• Support development and continuous improvement of test processes and documentation.
