Job summary

GMRE, a veteran-owned engineering firm, seeks a Senior Test Engineer A-G to provide expert test and evaluation for major flight tests in the 780 TS. You will mentor others and ensure rigorous testing across weapons, avionics, and fire-control systems.

The role requires extensive experience, active security clearances, and leadership to guide test teams and documentation efforts in a fast-paced defense environment at GMRE in Florida.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in test engineering leadership.
• Master’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Advise Flight Chief on significant issues affecting work.
• Maintain SAP access as required.
• Lead major test and evaluation programs for weapons and avionics.
• Develop and review test documentation (Data Plans, MOT, Test Cards, Post-Test Reports).
• Provide technical management for test & evaluation programs and reporting.
• Represent the squadron at conferences with HQ USAF and other agencies.
