J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Test Engineer 2 in the United States to deliver application and systems testing in a security-conscious environment. The role requires hands-on Linux experience and the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include TS/SCI with Polygraph, a bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of testing or 10 years experience in lieu of a degree, and a strong background in functional testing, systems verification, and defect tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant testing experience, OR ten years of test engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Solid hands-on Linux experience and ability to operate independently across cross-functional teams.
• Proven background in functional testing, systems verification, defect tracking, and test procedure documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute application-level and systems testing to validate mission requirements.
• Verify interfaces with ITS components while adhering to security and operational mandates.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and results across all phases.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineering and operations to validate fixes.
• Utilize Linux command-line tools for troubleshooting and system verification.
• Assist in modernizing test methodologies and expanding automation capabilities.
