Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking an early to mid-career Test Engineer to join the Integration and Test team supporting one or more DoD programs. You will plan, execute, and document system-level tests for government certification activities, collaborating with engineers and government stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance test automation.

You will gain hands-on experience with Tactical Data Links and DoD test processes, while growing in a dynamic, security-cleared environment

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or above). Active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning, test case development, and test execution for program integration and functional testing.
• Perform usability checks on agile developed products for future operators.
• Document test procedures, results, anomaly reports, and test summaries per standards.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining test environments (hardware and software baselines).
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and government stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to test automation efforts and toolchain integration (Jira, JAMA, GitLab).
• Support SCT preparation and execution with government test agencies.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide timely status updates.
