Job summary
Ultra I&C in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated Test Engineer to join the Integration and Test team supporting DoD programs. You will plan, execute, and document system-level tests for government certification, working with engineers to ensure quality in tactical data links and C4ISR environments.
This early‑ to mid‑career role offers hands-on experience with Test Automation, Scrum ceremonies, and collaboration with government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and basic command-line operations.
- Knowledge of XML/JSON formats and data interchange.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management using JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Support test planning, test case development, and test execution for integration and functional testing activities.
- Perform usability checks and verification on a cutting edge and agile developed product for future warfighters.
- Document test procedures, test results, anomaly reports, and test summary reports in accordance with program standards.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining test environments, including hardware and software baselines.
