Job summary

Oteemo Inc. is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to validate a regulated energy utility’s Azure developer desktops, ensuring SLA and security controls are met.

You will automate login, boot, IDE starts, and workload tests, building mocks and synthetic data to keep production out of the sandbox. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in test or quality engineering, incl 3+ years testing infrastructure/cloud environments.
• Automation skills in two or more of PowerShell, Python, C#/.NET, or TypeScript with CI/CD tests.
• Performance testing with Azure-focused tools; hands-on Azure VMs, networking, and monitoring.
• API testing with REST, Postman, and mock servers; synthetic data generation/masking.
• Ability to produce test plans and evidence packages for security/compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• SLA and performance validation with measurable test plans and gates.
• Validate connectivity, tooling, and end-to-end test coverage across Git, Copilot, and repositories.
• Run security/state validation ensuring restricted production access and SIEM visibility.
• Create data mocks, synthetic data generators, and container/test data workflows.
• Define IaC/policy gates and publish SLA scorecards and regression runbooks.
