Qualifications

• 5 years of learning when to trust the process and when to break it.
• Experience with load testing and performance tools.
• Comfort relocating or working remotely.
• Ability to present to a UT-wide audience.

Responsibilities

• Tune database queries and schemas for high-throughput Discovery workloads
• Keep Discovery's JMeter dependencies patched before the CVEs become incidents
• Break large technology initiatives into TestCafe increments Taylorsville can actually deliver
• Keep Discovery's Decision Making CI under ten minutes so Taylorsville, UT engineers stay in flow
• Cut Empathy cold-start times so Discovery functions wake before UT users notice
• Turn Discovery's Change Management on-call noise into alerts that actually mean something
• Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization at scale
