Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods for complex systems. The role emphasizes RF and digital designs, test fixtures, and manufacturing integration.

You will lead test development projects, write detailed test plans, train technicians, and collaborate with customers to drive improvements, ensuring on-time delivery and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with Linux and Python.
• Experience with ATE products and Test Interface Units.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Engineering Change Control process.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000-2000 and TL9000 requirements.
• Experience in a Contract Manufacturing environment is desired.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, and test instructions.
• Troubleshoot by isolating faults and logging defects for engineering teams.
• Identify and communicate design deficiencies to customers.
• Manage test development schedules and software upgrades with customers.
• Train technicians on new production test stations and RF/Digital designs.
• Support software installation, data collection, and configuration.
• Assist product implementation in manufacturing with layout planning.
• Drive test/process improvements to reduce defects.
• Interface with new customers for proposals and quotations.
• Oversee pilot runs for NPI and provide customer feedback.
