Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing efforts for complex systems in a remote U.S. setting.

You will design and execute integration, regression, and functional tests, create detailed test plans, and mentor peers within an SAFe agile environment. Responsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual test scripts, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers and business partners to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technology testing.
• Experience in cross-functional teams and SDLC.
• Advanced knowledge of testing tools, databases, and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create complex Test Plan documents.
• Perform analysis, interpret results, and present recommendations.
• Ensure clear communication of testing activities, progress, and defects.
• Coordinate testing during System Integration Testing.
• Participate in SDLC with SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Mentor peers and serve as SME.
• Create and execute complex manual and automated test cases.
• Troubleshoot automation scripts and update parameterization files.
• Document defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers and business partners.
• Assess impacts of changes on testing.
