Job summary

Set of X is hiring owners and engineers to join an elite team led by industry veterans who value ownership and accountability.

You will test software across telephony and networking hardware, generate test cases, perform baseline, system and regression testing, analyze large log data, document results, and contribute to test plans. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a test engineer developing/executing test scripts and analyzing results in system testing of complex systems.
• Strong Python experience and scripting proficiency.
• Experience with Python scripts and regex for data search.
• Experience integrating new/old technologies into existing testbeds and networks.
• Experience creating test scenarios and analyzing procedures.
• Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing.
• Ability to build, test, and maintain multiple lab environments.
• Ability to set priorities and adapt schedules for baseline/system/regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Test software following a formal automated testing method across telephony and networking hardware.
• Generate test cases based on requirements and product functionality.
• Perform baseline, system, and regression testing in support of R&D efforts.
• Analyze large log/data sets and document results clearly for stakeholders.
• Create test documents such as test plans, traceability matrices, and test summaries.
