Set of X is seeking an experienced test engineer to drive automated testing across telephony and networking hardware. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with strong Python scripting and regex skills essential for creating tests and analyzing large data sets.

You will build and manage lab environments, generate test cases, and document results in clear, concise reports. The role emphasizes ownership within an elite government-contracting team and offers a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a test engineer developing/executing test scripts.
• Strong Python experience and scripting with regex.
• Experience integrating new/old tech into test beds and networks.
• Ability to design test scenarios and analyze procedures.
• Manage discrepancy reports identified during testing.
• Develop/build/test multiple lab environments for testing.
• Prioritize tasks and perform baseline/system/regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Test software using formal automated methods over telephony and networking hardware across platforms.
• Generate test cases based on requirements and product functionality.
• Perform baseline, system, and regression testing in R&D.
• Analyze large log data and test results with clear documentation.
• Create test plans, traceability matrices, and summary reports, with analysis.
