Job summary

Holt Integrated Circuits, Inc. in Aliso Viejo, CA, is seeking a Test Engineer focused on mixed-signal avionics ICs. You will lead test development, qualification, and yield improvements across the product lifecycle, collaborating with design, validation, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor test, strong experience with ATE platforms, and hands-on skills in both hardware and software test solutions. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced avionics environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with a focus on mixed-signal or avionics products.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms (LabVIEW, ATEasy, Cohu/Unisom) and Linux systems using C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of test solutions from legacy platforms to modern systems to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Develop and implement high-speed test solutions at package and wafer levels (hardware and software).
• Drive analog and digital Design for Test (DFT) methodologies into new product designs for testability and manufacturability.
• Review production test times and yields to identify efficiency improvements and throughput gains.
• Assist in capital planning for test equipment and systems aligned with growth.
• Explore new test methodologies to improve accuracy, speed, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, validation, and product teams to optimize test coverage and robustness.
• Develop reliability screening to evaluate device performance under life testing.
• Perform ATE characterization to ensure design integrity and lifecycle readiness.
• Provide concise test results and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships across design, validation, applications, and marketing teams.
• Support customer issues related to tests and production quality.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in test results.
