Job summary

Iridium is seeking an experienced Test Engineer III to join its Solutions Validation team. You will perform research, development, testing and sustaining activities for Iridium services, verify product reliability, and advance test automation initiatives in a hybrid office or home setup.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or CS and at least 5 years in test execution, automation, or software development, with RF testing and cloud familiarity being strong assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in test execution, automation, or software development.
• Experience with RF systems or wireless testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud services and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software/hardware teams to ensure product quality.
• Decompose requirements into verifiable test objectives.
• Develop and maintain automated test systems and scripts.
• Collect metrics, generate reports, and document defects.
• Maintain test infrastructure and device lab environments.
• Support configuration management of test automation software.
