Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Test Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX to support detailed hardware and software design, updates, and integration/verification for PAC-3/MSE missile test sets.

The role requires problem-solving, multi-tasking, and experience with test equipment design and ITA/cable design. You will produce flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, interface control documents, test descriptions, operating instructions and installation procedures, while participating in Peer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics.
• Familiarity with test software design and debugging.
• Root Cause and Corrective Action.
• Test equipment hardware and interfaces (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.).
• Hardware and software configuration management processes.
• Microsoft Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
• ITA and cable design experience.
• LabVIEW/Test Stand experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and integrate test sets for PAC-3/MSE missile hardware and software.
• Provide flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, and interface control documents.
• Write test requirements, descriptions, operating instructions, and installation procedures.
• Support peer reviews and readiness reviews; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Travel to production facilities, suppliers, and customer facilities as needed.
