Job summary

RIVA Solutions, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation solutions in a modern DevSecOps environment.

You will build automation frameworks from scratch, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and perform security, performance, and compliance testing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience implementing BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Test Engineer in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Java scripting and experience building automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Java application development and testing methodologies.
• Expertise with QA automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium/WebDriver for UI automation and Postman for REST API testing.
• Experience with bug tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Hands‑on experience testing web-based applications (both front‑end UI and back‑end services).
• Experience working on large‑scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases tailored to the P-TACTS DevSecOps environment.
• Design, build, and integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and rapid feedback.
• Perform security testing, including static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to verify scalability and reliability of applications.
• Use monitoring and analytics tools to evaluate system performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
• Set up, manage, and maintain test environments to mirror production conditions and ensure test accuracy.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate testing practices throughout the SDLC.
• Produce detailed test reports, track and manage defects, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
• Extend and enhance API testing frameworks and scripts while also participating in manual testing of user interfaces and customer‑facing features.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test processes, results, and quality metrics using tools such as Rally and GitLab.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, to ensure test coverage and workload balance.
