Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience with Git SCM providers (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• 3 years of programming or scripting experience
• 3 years of DevSecOps experience in Agile environment
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• 3 years of test automation using Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman
• CI/CD integration of test automation including performance, security, and functional tests
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholder needs and communicate them to developers
• Meet with product design to determine testing parameters
• Write test plans, create test cases, bug reports, and QA reports
• Manage test data architecture and requests
• Troubleshoot issues and streamline test procedures
• Test code and analyze results across data validation, functional, performance/load, usability, and accessibility testing
• Establish automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation
• Validate testing across cloud migrations and datasets
• Develop automated test scripts with parallelization and idempotency
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
• Collaborate with developers to ensure processes are followed
• Document environment state, perform gap analysis, provide options and recommendations
• Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize testing
• Drive continuous DevSecOps improvements and tool adoption
• Present status updates and provide cross-training to the team
• Act as individual contributor and mentor juniors
