Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Test Engineer L2 to develop and execute test plans for automotive components and systems. You will analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and suggest design improvements while supporting ECU development and vehicle-level validation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in test engineering, strong problem-solving, and experience with CANoe and automotive networking. On-site role in Ohio with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ME or EE; 6 years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of test engineering experience in automotive settings.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures using engineering principles and analysis tools.
• Design tests to verify feasibility, performance targets, and standards compliance.
• Create test specifications, data settings, and schedules.
• Set up test equipment and conduct moderately complex tests.
• Document results and summarize conclusions for reports.
• Analyze results to predict performance and failure modes.
• Identify issues and propose countermeasures.
• Communicate results through technical reports and presentations.
• Support automotive ECU development and integration.
• Perform vehicle-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
