Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a test engineer to develop and implement robust testing methods and procedures ensuring products meet design requirements and function as intended.

You will manage multiple testing build projects, plan resources, and drive corrective actions with program representatives, suppliers, and internal teams to improve quality and reliability across testing activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
• Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
• Participates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems.
• Defines internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
• Creates, documents, and analyzes the most complex test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.
• Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.
• Identifies chronic or systemic problems in testing and develops and implements improvements to process.
