Job summary

Strativ Group is supporting an aerospace company in the search for an experienced Senior Test Engineer. This is a hands-on role focused on physical testing of complex electrical, mechanical and integrated aerospace systems.

You will develop and execute test plans, own the full test lifecycle from setup and instrumentation through to analysis and reporting. You will support functional, environmental, structural, vibration, thermal and qualification testing, troubleshoot hardware issues, analyse

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in test engineering, hardware validation, systems test or engineering verification.
• Hands-on experience testing complex physical systems or integrated hardware.
• Strong understanding of test planning, instrumentation, data capture and reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• A disciplined approach to quality, reliability and safety.
• Aerospace, defence, robotics, automotive, energy or other mission-critical hardware experience.
• Experience with environmental, vibration, thermal, structural or endurance testing.
• Familiarity with DAQ systems, sensors and test equipment; experience with qualification, acceptance or requirements-based testing.
• Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW or similar data analysis experience.
