EVONA seeks an Associate Electrical Test Engineer to support electrical product testing for advanced aerospace hardware. You will help validate electrical and electro-mechanical systems, develop tests, and document procedures throughout the development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have hands-on testing experience, enjoy problem solving, and can work with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment. On-site testing laboratory role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of engineering/testing experience in a lab or R&D environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define electrical testing requirements with design teams.
  • Develop and document test plans and procedures.
  • Execute electrical and electro-mechanical tests per approved docs.
  • Analyze data and prepare technical reports for teams.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and root-cause investigations during testing.
  • Support test automation improvements and equipment training.

Job description

Our client is an innovative aerospace company developing next-generation satellite communications technology. Their engineering teams are designing and testing advanced spacecraft and supporting systems that push the boundaries of connectivity and space technology. As they continue to grow, they are seeking talented early-career engineers to join their expanding test and validation team.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Electrical Test Engineer to support the development, execution, and documentation of electrical product testing for advanced aerospace hardware.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll help validate electrical and electromechanical systems, develop test procedures, troubleshoot hardware, and ensure products meet performance and quality requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or engineer with up to two years of experience looking to build a career in aerospace testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define electrical testing requirements.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve test plans and test procedures.
  • Execute electrical and electromechanical tests in accordance with approved documentation.
  • Analyze test data and prepare clear technical reports for engineering teams.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause investigations during testing.
  • Assist in improving test efficiency, including opportunities for automation.
  • Train and support technicians and engineers on test equipment and procedures when required.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with internal quality standards and engineering best practices.
  • Serve as a technical resource for laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in engineering, testing, laboratory, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
  • Experience working in an engineering or R&D laboratory.
  • Laboratory data acquisition and analysis tools
  • Test automation and scripting tools
  • Standard laboratory electronic test equipment
