Job summary

SiTime Corp. in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a Principal Test Engineer to develop production test solutions for MEMS timing products. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize test flows on ATE platforms (Teradyne ETS‑88, UltraFLEX) and drive design‑for‑test activities.

The role emphasizes hands‑on debugging, automated test software, data analysis and mentorship, with opportunities to influence yield, cost and production ramp.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs; Teradyne ETS-88 or UltraFLEX preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of analog electronics and board-level troubleshooting and debug.
• Excellent programming skills with C++.
• Must be physically able to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Contribute to pre-silicon test program simulation/verification and AI tool implementation.
• Engage with design team on Design for Test (DFT) features and test plans.
• Develop test software on ATE platforms, such as Teradyne ETS-88 and UltraFLEX.
• Lead release-to-production activities and support the product into high volume production.
• Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
• Provide technical mentorship to other team members.
• Support other projects as needed by management or as business needs evolve.
