Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced Test Engineering leader to drive the SSE Solution and Next Gen Security initiatives for the Prisma SASE team. You will recruit, mentor, and manage a team of QA/Automation engineers and shape test strategies across cloud deployments.

You will lead end-to-end AI-driven automation test frameworks (API, UI, network protocols, performance, chaos testing) and oversee test execution in CI/CD pipelines, partnering with Architecture, Product Management, and

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of software development or Test Engineering in cybersecurity or networking.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years leading a team of SDETs across geographies in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with IPSec, BGP, DHCP and TCP/UDP Networking.
• Experience with SASE technologies: ZTNA, SD-WAN, CASB, DLP.
• 1+ years driving AI transformation in engineering with AI-assisted workflows including Claude/Cursor/Agentic Harnesses.
• Experience with Linux/Esxi virtualization or Docker/Kubernetes or cloud tech (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of QA/Automation engineers.
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and quality metrics for Prisma Access components.
• Participate in system design to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead AI-driven end-to-end automation test frameworks (API, UI, network, performance, chaos).
• Oversee test execution across CI/CD pipelines and rapid regression testing.
• Partner with Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to surface requirements.
• Track quality metrics and drive RCA for field escalations.
